ATTENTION PARENTS:

The use of skateboards, rollerblades and "heelys" present a major safety issue within the center environment.  Parents are urged to ensure that children not bring these items to Open Arms.  Skateboards and rollerblades will be taken from children who bring them to the center. Heelys can ONLY be worn if the non-wheeled insert is in place.  If children wear Heelys to the center with the wheel insert in place, they will be asked to remove the shoes from their feet.  Parents will be called to bring appropriate footwear for their child.

The mission of Open Arms is to reach out to families with young children.

Play is child's work. We take advantage of this fact and add many facets of early childhood teaching techniques to build a happy and strong foundation. By balancing active time with quite time, teacher directed activities with child selected activities, and structured learning with fun-time, Open Arms will encourage the child's natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about the Lord's creation.
